Lasell College students traveled to Atlanta for Alternative Spring Break this March

Rebecca Van Spall-Hood of Seymour, CT, a Psychology major from the Class of 2019 traveled to Atlanta, GA for an Alternative Spring Break trip where students worked with several non-profits including Truly Living Well, Southwest Ecumenical Emergency Assistance Center, Piedmont Park, and Meals on Wheels.

Van Spall-Hood and other Lasell students assisted with the reparation of garden beds and re-planting, delivered groceries to families in need, unloaded food donations, delivered and prepared meals, and volunteered in Day Centers for the elderly.
