WBB: Lasers Pick Up Conference Opening Win

The GNAC has named Ariel Foster (Dorchester, Mass.) the Women's Rookie of the Week and Women's Track Athlete of the week for her performance at the Springfield College Season Opener this past weekend.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced their all-region award winners last week and Junior Lily Stark was named to the Region I second-team.

Newton, Mass. - The New England Women's Volleyball Association announced all-region teams earlier this month as Sophomore Outside Hitter McKenna McCool was named to the third team.

Bangor, ME - The Lasell Lasers defeated the Husson Eagles by a final score of 88-81. The win moves the Lasers to 3-2 on the season, while the Eagles are now 1-3.

On Monday Afternoon, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) named Lasell forward Quinton Partee Jr (Atlanta, GA) the Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Farmington, ME - The Lasell Lasers defeated UMaine-Farmington by a score of 73-55 on Saturday. The win is the Lasers' first of the season, and moves their record to 1-3. The Beavers drop to 1-3 as well.

Quincy, MA - The Lasell Lasers defeated the Eastern Nazarene Lions on Tuesday night by a score of 82-62. The win is the Lasers second in a row, and brings their record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions are also now 2-1.

Michael Curran (Woburn, Mass.) and Zachary Kirsch (Winsted, Conn.) both competed at the NCAA Division III East Regionals at Bowdoin College, representing the Lasell Men's Cross Country team.

The Lasell Men's Soccer team closed out its regular season on the road tonight in Nashua, New Hampshire against GNAC opponent Rivier University.
