With the win, the Lasers clinched beiing at least a top four seed in the GNAC playoffs, guaranteeing the Lasers of at least hosting one home game. The Lasers are tied with Rivier and Saint Joseph's (ME) for second place in the conference, with each team having one game to play.

The Lasers are now 22-10 on the season and 6-2 in conference play. The Falcons are now 17-15 and 9-3.

The Lasell Lasers baseball team continued their winning ways, defeating the Norwich Cadets in both games of their conference doubleheader, winning game one 10-8 and game two 15-4. The Lasers are now 16-10 on the season, and 11-1 in GNAC play. The Cadets are now 8-18 and 2-9. The Lasers sit in first place in the conference, with a two-game lead on JWU and Anna Maria. The Lasers will host JWU later this week in a two-game set that could determine who hosts the GNAC Baseball Tournament in May.

In between the two games, the Lasers honored their four seniors Matt Jacobson, Spencer Murphy, Jason Giangrande, and Joey Rego.
